Phone is the fastest route, and for anything urgent it is the only sensible one. Call (02) 4214 8006. The line is answered during scheduled hours for quotes and bookings, and after hours for emergencies.
For non-urgent work, a short message with your suburb and a couple of photos gets the process moving. Include the access details — side gate width, driveway slope, whether a truck can park out front — because that is what determines the method and therefore the price.
Hours
Scheduled tree work runs Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, and Saturday mornings 8am to 2pm. Outside those windows the phone is for emergencies: a tree already on a roof or a fence, a limb hung up in a canopy above somewhere people walk, fresh root plate lift on a leaning trunk, or a trunk across the only vehicle access. Everything else gets booked into the next available slot.
After a significant storm the queue is triaged by risk rather than by who called first. That is not a customer service failing — it is the only defensible way to run storm work. The emergency and storm damage page explains the order of operations and what you should do before a crew arrives.
What happens after you call
We take the details, work out whether the job is a removal, a prune, a grind or a clearing job, and flag anything that looks like it will need council approval first. Then it goes to a contractor set up for that kind of work in your area, and either a ballpark or a site visit is arranged.
Before work starts, ask the contractor for their insurance certificate and qualifications. We do not verify those documents — that is set out in our disclaimer — so the check is yours to make, and it is worth making.

Frequently asked questions
What details do you need to give me a ballpark?
Your suburb, roughly how tall the tree is compared with the house, the trunk width at chest height, what is underneath the canopy, and how wide the side access is. Two or three photos from different angles with a bin or a person in frame for scale will get you an indicative figure faster than a long description.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Onsite quotes across the Illawarra are free and carry no obligation. We would rather look at a job properly and lose it on price than guess and renegotiate on the day.
What are your hours?

Can I send photos instead of arranging a site visit?
For a lot of jobs, yes. Flat blocks with clear access can be quoted accurately from photos. Steep escarpment sites, crane jobs, anything tight against a boundary, and any tree we suspect is council-protected really do need a look in person before a firm number is given.
